Hello & Welcome to The DOG's Point of View!

My name is Meesh Masters, I'm a holistic canine trainer & behaviour consultant and I specialise in working with Romanian & Overseas Rescue Dogs & their families.

If you've landed here then you're likely an adopter of a Romanian or overseas rescue dog who would like to learn more about living harmoniously with these amazing natural world dogs. Or maybe you're encountering some behavioural challenges and looking for some help & support.

Then you are in the right place! Adopting a natural world dog is an amazing experience, but not without it's challenges sometimes - which is why my sole purpose is to help adopters understand the true nature of the dog in front of them, learn how to communicate better, and develop a strong relationship using ethical, fear free teaching methods.

If you'd like to read a little more about me, you can do that HERE

My mission is to reach and support as many adopters & canine professionals as possible, ensuring they have the knowledge & tools to understand and support these incredible dogs as they do their best to transition to a completely different life than what they've been used to.

There are lots of available resources for you to choose from whether you're just looking to learn or seeking training guidance & support. If you're not sure what you need, please do reach out to us via the contact page on the website.

What Some of my Clients Have to Say

"I wish I started working with Meesh before we got our girl Kiwi As soon as we joined the Dog's point of view I realised how little I - and the three trainers/behaviourists I consulted before - knew about Romanian dogs.  I am so much more confident & positive about Kiwis development now because we have an expert helping & supporting us.  Meesh offers so much support and feedback day to day which we found extremely helpful while working on Kiwi's reactivity on walks"

"I adopted Sadie 5 years ago, and the 'real' challenges began about 9 months after she arrived. Having sought advice from 2 behaviourists previously and although well intentioned, I soon began to wonder if Sadie's anxieties were really being understood.

After spending a year or two battling with Sadie's challenging behaviour, a Facebook friend recommended me to Meesh who I booked a 1-1 with. This was the turning point for us, such invaluable advice given which enabled us to begin our journey to live a happier & better life together.  Without this I really don't know where we would be now. "Meesh is the best person you could ever hope to work with in relation to a dog with challenges, and having had a previous bad experience with a trainer, I now wouldn't let any other trainer near my dog.  Her approach and training methods are just so right and make so much sense, and the support and understanding she offers is invaluable.

I started as a 1-1 client, but couldn't bear the thought of not having Meesh and her support when we finished working together, especially as our dog was still a 'work in progress' so we joined the adopters coaching group & are still there 4 years later! Meeting Meesh and becoming part of this group has changed our lives."

"This really is an amazing resource with a wealth of learning! I have 3 Rommies, all with their own quirks, one of them very new, and it is really useful to have so much information right there at my fingertips and in one place. I truly think this is a unique resource, I haven't found anything like it elsewhere. It's also very reassuring to know that there are many people out there experiencing the same joys and sometimes frustrations with our funny and lovely dogs! A big thank you to Meesh for putting this out there ❤️"

"The dogs point of view is in my opinion by far the best professional help out there for over seas rescue dogs and their doting owners. Meesh is amazing I’ve leaned so much in a short amount of time and I too as many have said beforehand wish I’d found her at the very start of my journey. Truly amazing, thank you Meesh.."
