All team members are qualified professionals who work holistically and have experience working with Romanian & Overseas rescue dogs

This is not your run of the mill online 'Dog Training' program, it is a Holistic Human-Canine Education Centre.  Of course there are solutions to your dogs training and behaviour challenges but that's only the beginning.

Through my work with Romanian dogs and learning how different they are to our British dogs, my journey as a dog 'trainer' has evolved into so much more.  The Romanian dogs and their unique characters have taught me to watch more closely, look more deeply and listen more carefully because the way they see & respond to the world is so instinctive and deeply rooted in, what I believe, is something that is closer to the true nature of a dog.

This deeper understanding of Romanian dogs means I know that conventional training approaches don't always work. Many trainers don't have experience of working with these dogs and their unique perspective on the world. I have enjoyed hearing how lots of members have had wonderful 'Aha' moments since joining the group and are learning how to work through challenges in a way that makes sense to their dogs, because
it's not JUST about training.

The Most Common Phrase I hear is
'We Wish We Had Found You & This Group Sooner' ❤️

REACTIVE TOWARD VISITORS
Before I found Meesh and her newly formed community group back in November 2019, I was stressed, upset and even scared about the issues my lovely Rommie boy had with visitors. I felt isolated and alone trying to deal and cope with the issues. I have first-hand experience of using the ”wrong” trainer and wasted a year of valuable training time battling with a trainer who was only doing more damage to my already frightened little boy. When Meesh came into our lives our world changed. I can assure you Meesh is the “right” trainer for these dogs and they all deserve her. I would recommend anyone who has a Romanian dog to join this group.  I dread to think where we would be if we hadn’t met Meesh and I hope that every adopter and Romanian dog who needs her, finds her in time and has the amazing benefits and experiences from this fantastic community she has created.

NEW ADOPTER
I can't remember exactly how I found Meesh but I am SO happy that I did as following her advice has been invaluable!! I was lucky to have found her before my 5 month old puppy, Dobby, arrived, as it gave me time to read a lot of information and get to understand Romanian dogs before he even got here! I love that she takes a holistic approach & takes everything into consideration when offering advice & also encourages you to look at the bigger picture to consider what else could be going on to contribute to your pup's behaviour, rather than focusing just on the problem itself.  Meesh is always SO supportive, positive, non judgemental & kind and I would wholeheartedly recommend her and her group to anyone who is really wanting to understand and help their foreign rescue ex street dogs. Thank you Meesh from the bottom of my heart, you have helped me and Dobby SO much and I will forever be grateful! Xxx

FEAR of STRANGERS & REACTIVITY on WALKS
Having adopted a Romanian rescue dog 10 weeks ago, I was looking for information on how to work with them and was lucky enough to come across Meesh Masters’ site (The Dog’s Point of View). Although I have had rescue dogs in the past, Monty was different.  I was his 4th home and he is still not 2 years-old. Monty was fearful of everything (noises, people, household appliances) when he first arrived, and I was at a bit of a loss. The advice and information on Meesh’s site has been invaluable and over the past weeks, I have gained a much greater understanding of how to work with Monty in helping him manage his behaviours and build his confidence. I can already see a huge difference in his behaviour. I would definitely recommend her to anyone - not only those with Romanian dogs.

NEW ADOPTER + REACTIVE on WALKS & TOWARD VISITORS
Out of all the dog trainers I could have chosen when scrolling the net in April 2020 for info on Romanian dogs I am so, so grateful I stumbled across Meesh Masters. We would have made so many mistakes without her (and we have had a UK rescue reactive dog before). We were fortunate enough to have watched The ‘Living with Romanian Dogs’ &  ‘Set yourself up for a successful adoption’ webinars before the first of two reserved Rommie dogs ‘Amber’ arrived. Although if I’m honest it scared us a little, it did set us up for success – we had a plan.

I have never looked back & am still a member of the coaching group, which I continually learn from.  Meesh is such a generous person & her enthusiasm in sharing her knowledge & years of experience to make a better life for these dogs (and us adopters) shines through, plus the network is a super supportive & kind place to be – Can’t recommend enough.

I Can't Wait to See You in There!

This is a community I have been passionate about building for a long time.

I want to create a safe space where we can learn, grow, share and support each other.  I am committed to being a student of dogs and want you to benefit from everything I learn as I learn it, to enable us all to have the most amazing relationships, lives and experiences with our dogs.

When would now be a great time to join the other members already seeing better connections with their dogs, improved responses on walks, reduced reactivity, fearful dogs with more confidence and regular moments of 'Wow, I can't believe how far we've come'

Are You Ready for That?

All The Dog's Point of View teaching guides, advice and recommendations follow the latest scientifically proven fear free methods.
I and any members of my team are committed to further study and continued professional development.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ABSOLUTELY YES! In fact, members who have joined the group as soon as their dogs arrived (some of them even before their dogs arrived) have experienced significantly less problems.

Definitely!  Many of our members join when they’ve had their dogs for a while but are still having difficulty resolving problems, despite working with other trainers previously, and they almost always say ‘Wow! We wish we had found you sooner!

The coaching group is not a ‘program’ as such, although there are structured courses and programs that you can systematically work through, there is also a lot of standalone information and resources that my team and I can easily direct you to as and when you need them at any given time. You can of course also ask questions in the group as and when they come up for you (much like doing a FB post), to ask for help with something specific, request guidance to a resource or to check with us if you are doing the right things specific to your particular dog and circumstances. There is also the opportunity to jump on Zoom calls and attend live Q&A sessions, these are generally at least one a week, so you can ask questions on those too.

Your membership to the group will simply continue for as long as you make subscriptions, which can be just for a few months or an indefinite period of time.  There is no minimum sign up period, you are free to cancel your membership at any time.  Many of our members have been in the group for years because they love knowing help and support is on hand 24/7 whenever they may need it.

This is entirely your choice. I have members who ask a lot of questions, attend all the calls and Q&A sessions, and of course make time to apply the information they learn with their dogs at home. I also have members who have been in the group with me for years, rarely join zoom calls and simply work through the resources they need as and when they need them, just popping up to ask questions if they’re not sure of something.

The majority of what I teach and share in the group is structured in such a way that you INTEGRATE what you learn into how you live with your dogs, because our dogs are learning ALL THE TIME, so more often than not it isn’t about doing lots of TRAINING with them, it’s about embedding their education as part of how you interact with them day in day out.

YES! You will have an ALL ACCESS PASS to everything available in the group, which is already a lot by the way, but there is more content, resources & workshops being added week in week out, and you will get access to all of it for as long as you continue to be a member.

Nope, not at all. If you want to come along you can, if not that’s fine too. Nearly all the zoom calls & Q&A lives are recorded and uploaded into the group so you can watch them back at your leisure.

Yes absolutely – you can get help and support at any time simply by asking questions in the group or directly on the units in each of the programs & resource areas.

No, but you are able to get discounted rates on 1-1 sessions should you feel you need some extra support and you can get answers to your questions on a daily basis from qualified professionals, by posting into the group. I am personally active in the community most weeks, both answering questions and hosting calls, and I have a hand-picked team of qualified RR Pro trainers who help me & support you when I am unavailable.

The coaching group is hosted on a platform called Mighty Networks because I wanted somewhere away from Facebook. It’s a fantastic platform with many awesome features that allow me to provide a versatile and varied way of delivering information, courses, and resources for my members, PLUS it’s setup brilliantly for the whole community to be fully interactive, which is why I chose it 😁

Michelle

Meesh Masters is the founder and business owner at The Dog's Point of View and specialises in working with Romanian & Overseas Rescue dogs, providing educational resources for their adopters via remote one to one consultations, home study courses, webinars, training programs and her popular Adopters Coaching Group - The number one resource anywhere on the internet for Romanian and Overseas rescue dog information and support.

After becoming involved with Romanian Rescue dogs in 2015, both as a support advisor to new adopters and a fosterer herself, she was led to look deeper into the thinking, feeling, emotional depths of these dogs when things began feeling different about them.

She soon realised how the Romanian dogs were different to British born dogs, that their genetics and bloodline, being from street dogs and dogs that had evolved through more natural selection, meant they seemed to be more in tune with their instinctive nature's. She went on to learn that she needed to adjust the ways she interacted with and worked with these dogs, to accommodate their more instinctive and cautious characteristics. It became very evident that these dogs responded differently to 'training' in the conventional sense at times.

And so it became her passion to share everything she was learning, and is still learning, about the Romanian Dog's Point of View with as many adopters as possible. Today she is Patron of two Romanian Rescue Charities, Cloud K9 Rescue and Annie's Trust, she is also advisor to various other rescue organisations. She runs a course for qualified trainers, The Romanian Rescue Pro Trainers program, to help other canine professionals understand more about working with Romanian & foreign rescue dogs and their families, as many of them can be quite complex compared to working with British dogs.  She has also launched an invaluable education & resource program for rescue organisations rehoming Romanian & Eastern European dogs, to help them & their volunteers to understand how to correctly support their adopters if they encounter basic problems.

Meesh is also now a certified Dynamic Dog Practitioner which qualifies her to complete detailed assessments of dogs in the areas of biomechanics, gait, movement & posture to determine whether there are any potential pain or discomfort issues that could be contributing to behaviour.  This is an invaluable qualification to have given that her entire business focuses solely on supporting and working with adopters and canine professionals of predominantly Romanian but also other European street, rescue & shelter dogs.  With the poor start many of these dogs have in life, along with the potential for them to have sustained untreated injuries, abuse and trauma prior to adoption, being able to assess for pain in a totally hands off, non-intrusive way is often the only way they can be assessed.
